Well, I normally do not read these kinds of books but I am trying to start a small business for my hand-crafted jewelry and thought it would be to my benefit to give “Reaching the Peak of Success” a try. Very glad I did! The author held nothing back, sharing all of her trials and tribulations, what she did wrong, and what she did right, and ultimately achieving a very successful business. If there is a chance to learn from another's mistakes, GRAB IT! If you are struggling to start an online business, large or small, this book will most definitely save you time, money, and give you some tried and true advice from someone that has been there, done that; and ended up doing very, very well. And, makes you feel like you can do it too.“Reaching the Peak of Success” never got boring to me. I read every page and will probably go back and read it again every so often. Fast paced and to the point with so many good tips on everything from selling on eBay and Amazon, to buying containers of product from suppliers in China. I loved the stories of her trips to China to deal with the factory managers. Fascinating! Amanda’s advice for starting a website for your business is absolutely INVALUABLE -- anyone can build a website but it has to be designed TO SELL and she outlines the steps she did – the ones that did not work and what she did that finally worked. What a treasure to find all of this advice in one easy-to-read book! My head is still swimming with ideas sprouted from reading this book. I don’t know if I will have the same determination that the author did (she almost quit a few times) but I’m going to give it a try! I am even considering changing my direction after reading this book.

Book was easy to read. The information was very easy to understand. I would recommend this book to younger adults needing encouragement with venturing out into the world of business. I believe that Ms. Noble did a great job gathering the information that in needed to get started in the world of business. Actually it was along the line of self-help as well. I would recommend it for sure.
This normally isn't the kind of book I read but it was recommended to me and I really loved it! It's amazing how many setbacks on can endure and subsequently overcome when starting their own business and maintaining it's success. I enjoyed reading her tips and also the way this was written as if she was a friend of mine just kind of catching me up on the last couple years of her life. I have no plans of starting my own business, but would consider this a MUST READ for anyone that does!
Talk about an inspirational book! This was an easy read as it was written in a conversational tone - I felt like Amanda was speaking directly to me. The best part of the book was reading about her "fails". These add a level of realism to the book as opposed to reading a "how-to" manual with no room for error. I'm sure I'll stumble along my path, but thanks to Amanda, I'll know I'm not alone. I am one of the long-term unemployed and have been trying to figure out what to do for an income and with Amanda's guidance I should be at that point quicker than I thought.
Great reading. I was very pleasantly surprised with this book. Amanda's story is captivating and very encouraging. I was going to take a few days to read this, but when I started I did not want to put it down. I have been praying about home based business ideas. The ideas are coming, but with many levels to putting a product "out there" it has been overwhelming to picture actually moving forward. This book helped to calm the concerns and gave me a true picture of success, failures and all! If you are interested in a personal online sales adventure, you need to read this book.
I don't usually read many non-fiction books, but this one was a quick & easy read. I am a Stay at Home Mom and over the years I have sold stuff on EBay to make some extra money. Recently, I had some thoughts about ordering bulk products to sell on a bigger scale, so I thought this book might give me some insight. Amanda shares her experiences with selling on EBay and . Her narrative includes both her successes as well as her failures. Although she is successful now, it was something that took many years of hard work and sacrifices. In addition to her story, she provides some helpful tips, too. The book was entertaining & insightful. I'm not sure I want to pursue a big EBay business, but at least I feel better informed if that's what I decide to do.
I'm mixed on this book. It is a very conversational tone and is repetitive and could use an editor. No typos, just to trim the language. She is largely telling the story of Quirky Bubba and it is primarily her personal journey, full of anecdotes. It it not really a plan for success or building a business. That said, there are two things that really held me through it. One, I came to like her and her conversational tone - she is very personable and she is incredibly honest about her own travails. Two, she is able to boil her points down and there are regular lists that are actually studded with some good experiential advice. This is not a business map, but if you are in the eBay business primarily, or even , there's enough here to merit a read -
Let me start by saying this book was easy to read and the language was very understandable as well. I did find it to be a bit repetitive in parts and could have used a bit more editing. Only a few spelling mistakes. I was expecting more of a guide on how to start or work an online business but found more of a personal journey. Now that being said reading her journey was exciting and she was quite entertaining in her telling of experiences. I was hoping for more of a platform to use, but nonetheless I did learn a thing or two about her journey. The book is entertaining and if you are doing any business through eBay or I would suggest giving it a read. As it is very easy to follow and get a good idea of things that could or would happen. Overall I enjoyed the book.
